Lake Crackenback Resort and Day Spa have installed a 9 hole course among the wooded and open areas of their existing golf course. The resort has a long standing association with outdoor sports and recreation activities, this along with Disc Golf’s success in alpine areas, means that the new course will be a success in the area. The course uses the terrain wonderfully with moderate hills and half the course in among the Snow gums. The last 4 holes are much more open and really let people see the disc fly in the air.

    Pros

Great use of available space and integration with other facilities at Lake Crackenback. Good use of elevation and amazing scenery with snow capped mountains in the background during spring.

    Cons

Some awkward tees with exposed tree roots.

    Pros

Fun 6 basket course. Got my first proper ace on hole 1 here. The technical woods shots are the stand out features.

    Pros

Great beginner/intermediate course with some tight lines, and some open holes. Grass tees well signed, amenities at the complex across the road from #1 tee. Recent tree pruning has kept the course playing well.

    Cons

Some difficult tee gradients & footing, and one hole (3?) with unsighted basket needs a spotter. Be careful when walking onto stick golf fairways as you are unsighted from their tees for a few holes

    Pros

Nice manicured course on beautiful property. Fun, easily playable course with nice variety of throws and elevation.

    Cons

Get slowed up in sharing the space at times. Remote location.
