  • Pros: Amazing course. Like, freaking awesome. May be my favourite course in Aus. It's very technically challenging, being a woods course, but every hole makes sense and there are birdies to be had by most players. Highly recommend playing the Perth Open at Pine Lines if you can. Cons: Private course as mentioned in other reviews.

  • Pros: Decent location and other park facilities. Cons: Probably the least inspiring course I've played. It's a difficult park to design a good course in, but still, I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

  • Pros: Surprisingly challenging little course. Great use of the space provided. Good signage, tee pads and baskets. Cons: A few holes that don't really make that much sense and throw close to backyards. Residents have 'sound-insulated' a few baskets with foam and tape (fair call) so expect a few to spit back on those baskets.

  • Pros: Awesome location and a beautifully laid out course with a good mix of challenges. Suited towards more experienced players, but it's not so punishing that a beginner wouldn't enjoy it. Great facilities at the park too. Cons: Public layout is currently only marked with 'ground-markers' (no tee signs), which is a shame for such a quality course in a prime location. Grass tee pads also let it down a little.

  • Pros: An excellent course to challenge every aspect of your game at the highest level. A good mix of tight woods, open golf fairways and elevation, with decent length on every hole. Very quiet and peaceful around the course and in the woods. The folks running the Inverleigh Golf Club are very friendly and accommodating. Cons: Hole 6 of the new permanent course makes no sense currently, but I can see it becoming a good hole. Pay to play as expected on a golf course.

  • Pros: Fun 6 basket course. Got my first proper ace on hole 1 here. The technical woods shots are the stand out features. Cons: See what others have mentioned

  • Pros: Very fun little course. Managed to shoot a solid -16 under here in the Snowy Mtn Marrathon on the standard layout. Eagles and aces are up for grabs. Good for 1 or 2 disc rounds. Cons: Rowing club may impact a few fairways.

  • Pros: Awesome course. Great mix of technicality, length and elevation. A course that suits all levels really well.

  • Pros: ELEVATION! How often do you get to bomb a 140m par 3 with a mid?! Some really fun, unique holes. Cons: Hole 13 makes no sense haha. It's so far, so up hill.

  • Pros: Really liked this course. Nice hole length, with good challenges from the trees and park layout. The permanent island hole is a nice feature too.

  • Pros: This is the course that really got me into the sport. It's short with a good amount of technicality and you can crush a few rounds in one day here easy. Great for 1 or 2 disc rounds and ace runs. Cons: You'll probably have to wait for a few dog walkers etc.

  • Pros: Nice view and parklands. Cons: Course feels a bit repetitive - maybe due to the flatness of the park.

  • Pros: Short little course that plays around an oval. Close to Freo. Nothing overly challenging, but a good beginner course.

  • Pros: Pretty fun and surprisingly challenging course. Good use of a nice little park. Cons: Something about the layout and few hole designs feel a bit odd.

  • Pros: Long, challenging course to really put your game to the test. Great facilities and shorter tees for a quicker, slightly easier round.

  • Pros: Sick course full stop. All the holes beckon you to birdie them, but one wrong move and Poimena punishes bad shots like no other. When you get it right, it's a sweet feeling. The course is also run by some passionate people who are trying new things to make it even better. Cons: Some gravel tees can get sketchy when wet.

  • Pros: Good holes with a variety of challenges. I feel like this course would really help improve your game. Cons: Layout makes little sense the first few times around. Ground markers and no signage make it harder still. Once you work it out, it's alright.

  • Pros: Great facilities in a really nice park. Concrete tee pads. Cons: I personally just find the course fairly boring. A lot of open, flat forehand bomber holes. Hole 1, 7 and 8 are cool though. Mach III spit outs.

  • Pros: Fun course that remains challenging as you progress. Cons: Some tee pads are a bit rough and as mentioned, the back 9 ground markers are hard to find.

  • Pros: Fun little course in a quiet park under the West Gate. Notable sites include; massive sea container ships, Jeffery the black rabbit and the serenity of overhead, high-voltage power lines. Cons: No facilities - toilets or taps. Signage is currently non existent due to vandals and the end of the council trial. There are only 4 baskets with 8 tees. Hopefully this will all improve as the park improves and the trial course is expanded.
