Pros: A 3.5 star from me, that rounds up to 4 star because of the history surrounding the venue. Not a long course, but for 9 holes you throw plenty of different shots. The upgrades done in the past few years has helped with getting around for newbies.. Cons: Not much dedicated parking. Throwing near roads on some holes not ideal
8 years agoPros: Exactly what you'd expect from a well designed inner city course. Good amenities in the area and easy to access. Cons: Somewhat open and flat but they have done the best they can with the land available.
8 years agoPros: Exceptional pro-level course. It's long, windy and steep in parts. watch the skip into the OB! Cons: Could maybe offer a better balance between left/right favouring holes.
8 years agoPros: Plenty of elevation with lovely views over greater Hobart. Eighteen dedicated holes offering a large array of shot making. Cons: The roll-aways, but i guess that's my fault for missing the putt! Tee-pads weren't the best when i was last there, but they may have improved by now.
8 years agoPros: Oh yeah this is a sweet little 9-holer. Everything you'd expect from a DiscGolfPark course. Wooded shots, some water, rough. Toilets on site. Quiet park so hardly any interruptions in play. Cons: Those dang mozzies get thick when its wet.
8 years agoPros: Plenty of variation for this scenic course that utilises water, trees and elevation well. A relatively quiet park so no issue with pedestrians. Good baskets and some signage. Cons: hasnt reached its full potential yet
8 years agoPros: Some elevation with a mix of long and short holes. Cons: accessibility and too open
8 years agoPros: A most unique course set on a granite mountain I have seen the course evolve in the last 18 months and am confident that with some of the changes currently taking place it will soon achieve "5 star" status. Good baskets, plenty of elevation and well marked tee-pads.. This course makes you throw shots you didn't think you would need to. You work hard on every throw here and it is as mentally draining as it is physically. I hope to upgrade my rating to 5 stars soon. Cons: Not beginner friendly and if you aren't sure on foot then best you play when dry.
8 years agoPros: DisCatcher baskets, dedicated tee-pads and signage. Everything you'd expect from a professionally designed DiscGolfPark course. Two sets of teepads for each baskets allows for a long and short option for each hole. Plenty of trees, water and rough to keep advanced players coming back. The tourney temp layout, using 9 temp baskets transforms the course to something special. Car-parking and toilets on site. Cons: Mosquitoes can get heavy, and some of the tee-pads could have been placed better IMO.
8 years agoPros: Some very fun holes where you can 'let rip'. Dedicated tee pads, some elevation, water hazards. A dedicated 18 hole course is rare to come by too in SEQ. Cons: The unique "custom" baskets are like nothing you have probably seen before. They are big targets and this makes it an ideal beginner friendly course, however, less enjoyable for the more advanced player.
8 years agoPros: Signage, elevation, beginner friendly Cons: "Home-made" baskets are not ideal and are the reason it doesn't score 3 stars.
