Marabou Park is an easy difficulty 9-hole course featuring Ace Targets with concrete tees. The course spans 1.2km across flat terrain with an estimated playing time of 31 minutes. Established in 2024 by North Queensland Disc Golf Club (NQDG) through Townsville City Council support.

This is a beginner and family-friendly permanent course that offers a challenge to players of all skill levels. Located in a popular public park alongside a large playground, BBQ facilities, cricket net, and fitness equipment, it is also within close proximity to local shops. The course is mixed use, dog-friendly, cart-friendly, and stroller-friendly with limited mobility/cane accessibility throughout the well-maintained park. All holes are accessible. Drinking water available. No restroom facilities available.

Free to play. Reviewers describe it as a super fun little course great for ace runs, with some pretty greens particularly on hole 3 under the big trees. Signage and wayfinding rated highly, though numbered baskets would improve navigation. The course may experience wet, long grass conditions and muddy areas after rain. A valuable addition to grow the sport in Townsville through an accessible public park location.
