Where is Blue Gum Reserve?

Southeast of the Cowes township on Phillip Island is the Blue Gum Reserve nine hole Frisbee Golf Course.

The Course is set amongst 6.6 hectares of Indigenous Blue Gum trees and open space. Phillip Island Croquet Club and Phillip Island Scout Group also share the Reserve.

The Reserve, which is also a designated dog off-leash area, is located off Dunsmore Road, behind the Blue Gum Industrial Park at

101 Dunsmore Road, Cowes, Victoria

What type of Frisbee do I need?

Like traditional golf, Frisbee Golf is played with specialised equipment. These frisbees will offer more control and distance for those new to the game.

    Pros

Beginner friendly. Always open. Concrete tee pads.

    Cons

A lot of the holes are really short. Not much here for experienced players.

    Pros

Great course to introduce people to the sport. For experienced players it would probably make for a great ace-race course!

    Cons

A couple of tree-limited holes, but most are simply hurling across the open park.
